Tobacco & Addiction Services

Quitting Tobacco

We want you to be your healthiest. Our plan includes services that can help you quit tobacco products, drugs and alcohol and put you on a path to better health. If you want to quit using tobacco products, but can’t do it alone,  explore these covered services:

  • Treatment sessions (up to 10 sessions every three months).
  • Prescription and over-the-counter products (such as gum, patches and oral medications).
  • Individual and group counseling.

IHN-CCO also offers other ways to help you stop using tobacco, including telephone-based programs. You can call the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line at:

Drug & Alcohol Treatment

If you think you need to see someone for an alcohol or drug problem, talk to your primary care provider (PCP) or call a drug and alcohol provider directly.

Drug and alcohol providers have extra training and experience to help people who also get mental health services. You do not need a referral from your PCP for these services. To find a provider, search for Alcohol and Drug in our specialty provider directory or call us with questions.

Quitting Gambling

If gambling is causing a problem in your life we encourage you to get help. Help is free, it will be kept private, and it works. Treatment and counseling services are available free to any Oregon resident who has problems related to gambling either as a problem gambler or as a family member or friend of a problem gambler.

Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for anyone who is worried about their gambling. Help is also available if you are worried about a family member’s gambling. You can get a referral to a free treatment program or get help right away by calling the Problem Gambling Help Line at 877-MY-LIMIT (877-695-4648). You can chat online with a certified gambling counselor at 1877mylimit.org, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
